Screenshot of the live terminal reconfiguration
I'm using Telnet in MobaXterm to connect. I need to use the home and end keys for some shortcuts. However, they do nothing. In the terminal, I can right click and select change current terminal settings, this opens the live terminal reconfiguration window (screenshot). Then go to the keyboard section and see the "Set home and end keys to" section and it defaults to "rxvt". This does not send the appropriate keys and I need to change it to "Standard" Standard works, but this setting does not persist when reopening the session. I have been unable to find the setting anywhere else in the global config or session config.
I did try "showkey -a" and all I get back is rxvt: [H for home [F for end
standard [1~ for home [4~ for end
I've also tried installing Putty and saving the defaults and then importing it to MobaXterm. However, MobaXterm does not import the settings from the Putty config.
I've tried various combinations for the terminal type: xterm, xterm-256color, xterm-r6, ShiftFnKeys, Byobu, ESC[n~, and various vt 100-900.
I've tried mobaxterm version 24, 25, and now 25.1 preview 5
I've seen solution for rebinding the keys but I'd rather figure out a way to set the default in the "Set home and end keys to" section to "standard".
