Shopify Import Error When Syncing Products from Rithum (ChannelAdvisor) - Stack Overflow

programmeradmin2浏览0评论

I have integrated Shopify with Rithum (formerly ChannelAdvisor), but I'm experiencing an issue where only some product fields are imported correctly. Specifically, while Name and Description sync without problems, other essential fields like SKU, Images, Price, and Inventory are either missing or not updating properly. Current Setup:

Shopify is pulling product data from Rithum.
Rithum is the source of truth for my products and feeds multiple other sales channels (10+).
The Product Mapping Template in Rithum is configured.
The integration is active, but Shopify does not receive all fields correctly.

The Issue:

Only Name and Description import successfully.
SKU, images, price, and inventory are missing or not updated.
No errors appear in Shopify logs.
Rithum support states they cannot track what is being sent unless the SKU already exists in Shopify.

What I’ve Tried:

Checked Product Mapping in Rithum
Ensured SKU, Price, Inventory, and Media fields are mapped to the correct Shopify attributes.
Re-synced products, but the missing fields still do not import.

Tested Sending Blank Fields in Rithum Settings
    Tried both:
✅ Yes (overwrite empty fields in Shopify)
❌ No (ignore empty fields from Rithum)
    Neither setting resolved the issue.

Exported Shopify Products (CSV) and Checked Field Names
The Shopify CSV format uses different field names than Rithum.
    Possible mismatch in field mapping?

Questions:

How can I troubleshoot this import error to ensure all fields sync correctly?
Is there a way to log or debug what fields Rithum is actually sending to Shopify?
Has anyone encountered this issue, and how did you resolve it?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Reset to default -1

I started looking in to it last week and am still looking for streamlining processes.

Here's what I've been doing:

:: Export from Rithum

:: Select & Export a sample Product from within Shopify Admin (left side: Home, Orders, Products > Export Product

:: Paste the Rithum info into the relevant Fields (there are many that will be cast aside)

:: or Rename the Rithum CSV Fields to match and delete the rest

Fyi: Shopify will find any images hosted on CloudFare.

Hope that's helps.

Please let me know if you've discovered any better methods.

Thanks and good luck

Jim
