As the title says, every time Windows Update runs I have to reinstall Visual Studio Code. At first it was fun, but now it's annoying I have genuine Windows 11 24H2 from ASUS notebook
I searched Google and SO and I can't find solutions yet.
Edit #1: Thanks @Robert:
By “removed” I mean that the path where it is installed is empty, but it still appears in the list of installed programs.
The software is installed for the local user without the need for administrator permissions.
The installation path is:
C:\Users\my-user\AppData\Local\Programs\VSCode\Code.exe
- Taskbar icon remains pointing to nothing
