visual studio code - how disable vertical alignment in vscode - Stack Overflow

vscode is changing editor focus vertically. how to disable and keep the view?

the vscode editor is always positioning itself in the middle of the screen vertically, but I would like it to keep the cursor after typing in the same position it was.

example: screen initial

after pressing any key

the screen went down by itself. I want to continue editing up there. Thanks!
