First time use of the Thingsboard platform (online demo platform) but have successfully configured MQTT transport, rule node message transformation and a dashboard for a new device under development. All works very well indeed!
The only thing I can't get to work are the device profile alarm rules. Just doesn't generate the alarms. We have a number of alarm numbers for different alarm severities within our telemetry and alarm rules are configured to trigger when any of these are not equal to zero. The Device Profile node is present in our custom rule chain and this chain is set to be root.
I have been through all the TB documentation and just can't get the alarms to trigger. I can see the alarm word numbers becoming non-zero in the device telemetry but no alarms!
The last thing we have done is to configure rule chain script nodes to generate new msg key : value pairs when triggered from the Device Profile node Alarm Created and Alarm Updated outputs. These values do not appear in the device telemetry when the alarm words go non-zero so it looks like there is some issue within the Device Profile node.
What am I doing wrong ?

Reset to default 0I've solved the Thingsboard alarm problem by using alarms triggered from a rule chain. Works just fine now. Could not get the Device Profile alarm rules on the Thingsboard demo site to work at all.
