I'm testing out different redirection plugins. I have one plugin that gives me reports on the link clicks which is great. However, I need a solution to trigger a webhook when a redirect is hit.

I've researched many redirect and webhook plugins, but haven't found a clean solution to do this.

I'm not looking for a plugin solution.

I'm looking for an effecient way to track the click on a redirect link and trigger a webhook when a redirect is made. This is difficult because you can't send the visitor to a page with a pixel on it. They are clicking the redirect link and going to an external website.

Does anyone know how to do this?
