I want to hide some items from item sublist dropdown on purhcase order, the conditions are if user has subsidiary "1", then only it can see items which have "special items" checkbox checked. other users cannot see these items on PO if they do not belong to "1" subsidiary, then only rest items should be visible and not special items.

One option would be to hide the original field and create a custom field with the desired configuration.
