I have an app that has a "map" part that is basically Apple Maps + satellite + OSM on a MKMapView as you know it from many apps. Regardless of which map I use... when I zoom in intensively to the maximum zoom level and repeat that with continuous pinching after some time the map freezes but the app keeps running.
