This question is regarding Dimensional Data Modeling. Business Req: When customer ordered 10 items (Order-1), 5 items are available in in 1 fulfillment center, 3 items in 1 Fulfillment center, and last 2 items are available in another fulfillment center. In this case Order-1 split into 3 different orders (3 sub orders).

my current design: OrderFact, and OrderSplitFact. Shipment_Fact is connected to both OrderFact or OrderSplitFact. we have CustomerDim, DateDim, ProductDim

Note: all my Dims are SCD Type-2, and Facts are Append/Insert only

Question:

1. in this scenario all facts are directly connected. can we do?
