I'm new to Wordpress theme development (although I am not new to frontend development) and I would like some advice on how to use Semantic UI in creating a Wordpress theme. Has anyone here tried doing so from scratch?

I'm having problems getting the dropdown menu to work. There's this weird thing happening that if I make it a fixed menu (adding the fixed class), the dropdowns work, otherwise they don't. I'm thinking that there must be conflicts with other CSS or JS files Wordpress is using, but I am not so sure. Thank you for any advice and/or help.
