I am using IntelliJ Community Edition (2024.1), booted up with Oracle OpenJDK 17.0.6. The Markdown plugin is bundled with it and enabled. However, when I open an .MD file, the preview is not showing (there is no preview panel there).

If I go to Settings -> Language & Frameworks -> Markdown, it says that "There are no available preview providers".

What could be missing?

I had previously used an older version of Intellij Community Edition with Java 8, and the preview did show up.
