I'm taking up Google Data Analytics and I need the new_york dataset. The instructions clearly specified that it shouldn't be new_york_citibike due to discrepancies in their data.

Since I can't see the dataset, I pasted the course's query. It runs and I'll probably just go along with it.

I wanted to try here if I can get help on how to search for new_york. I think I might need it when exploring the previews and etc or for the quizzes and such. Any chance this is normal? How can I find a public dataset not showing in search? Is this dataset just gone or deleted already?

I tried searching "new_york" and also tried its ID. I also checked through marketplace and it's no longer available.

to find a dataset in bigquery, use the Search BigQuery Resources option at the top of BigQuery and if its a public dataset, make sure to toggle Search All Projects.

You can then either star the project, such as bigquery-public-data or the dataset, such as new_york_311 inside of your project for future reference
