    This is a very trivial question, but I'm kind of helpless here...

    In my home directory I have downloaded an executable file "vuln", added executable permission but for some reason I can't execute it. I get file not found error, filename autocomplete works but executing doesn't.

    In my home directory I have downloaded an executable file "vuln", added executable permission but for some reason I can't execute it. I get file not found error, filename autocomplete works but executing doesn't.

    • 1 It's a bit unclear what is wrong with this. It looks like the executable needs another file but I'm not 100% sure about this. It's a 32 bit executable so it might be pretty old - do you have any docs for it? – stdunbar Commented Feb 17 at 20:39

    Reset to default 0

    Installing lib32z1 library fixed my problem. Thanks @Anon Coward.
