I write a blog post with a link included in it using Wordpress.
See screenshot for an example. It says in the first post "Download PDF: Diabetic Foot Soaks", the words "Diabetic Foot Soaks" should be a link but it's just text.
But if I click "read more", the next page "Diabetic Foot Soaks" is a link.
I go to the blog page and there are previews of my posts. But it's just text not a link (I'm not talking about the Title or "read more" link but the content)
If I click "read more" I see the whole post and the text is a link.
Anyone know how I configure WordPress so links show on on these preview boxes on the main blog page instead of text.
Right now it ignore the html formatting and just shows everything as text
Thanks!
I tried manually typing out the link in the blog <a href="....
But on the main blog page all content is stipped of HTML formatting and show as just text.

Reset to default 1By default, WordPress removes all HTML from automatic excerpts, preventing links from being displayed. To include links or other HTML elements in excerpts, you can set manual excerpts by simply adding the desired tags. If setting manual excerpts for each post isn’t feasible, you may consider using a plugin to customize excerpts automatically.
