I have a site running Woo Commerce where I'd like to switch the /shop page to use the newfangled site editor. So far I have not had success getting my results to take. I have tried a few different things, and to be honest have gotten a bit crosseyed with it.
My latest attempt at getting this to work is creating a custom page template, filling that with blocks as appropriate, and setting that page to use that template via the page quick-edit. It looks about as expected in the site editor's preview, but that is not reflected on the live site.

Usually it's a theme not supporting it, so switching temporarily to a default theme will tell you whether that's the case. If it's not the theme, switch off plugins until you find out which one is disabling it, and then replace any other needed functionality from that plugin some other way. :) – WebElaine Commented Feb 10 at 14:15

Reset to default 0It turns out that I had disabled the block editor in Settings > Writing. Dumb.
