html - How to prevent repeating content to not be indexed as duplicate content? - Stack Overflow

programmeradmin3浏览0评论

A thing we seem to run into from time to time, is getting a notification for duplicate content on websites we build.

There are some modules we let our customers place on different pages. For example a block with USP's, or a 'contact us'-module on multiple pages.

When we check the sites with a tool like Seobility, it results in duplicate content because of these modules.

Is there any way to mark these modules as 'not important content' or something? Like a canonical URL, where you can see something like "this module is the same as on this url: [link to original module]" ?

I don't know if it has something to do with headings. We've had site where the footer was marked as duplicate content. But it seemed like we were using headings in the footer, and that shouldn't be used that way.
