I tried to use the attached screenshot to receive notifications when the Story (parent item) that is assigned to me and associated Tasks (child item) (not necessarily assigned to me) have been updated or closed.
For all Stories assigned to me, I want to receive notification on all the Tasks (child items linked to Story) not assigned to me.
When the Task is completed/closed, I need to receive notification.
I tried this in screenshot but I am receiving other people tasks associated/linked to others stories. This is not what I want. Please help.

Reset to default 0You receive notifications for other users' tasks because you added the filters shown in the screenshot below, but did not restrict the relationship between tasks and user stories. Therefore, you will receive notifications for all tasks that are not assigned to you, are in the Closed state, and have changes.
Currently, Azure DevOps only supports specifying a specific Parent, as shown below.
This means that for a subscription you can only receive notifications for the child tasks of a specific user story. However, this does not apply to your case because you will not create corresponding subscriptions for all user stories assigned to you. Therefore, the current features of Azure DevOps cannot meet your needs. I would suggest you submit a feature request on Developer Community to let the Product team know that such a feature is required by their customers.
