I have 2 folders with .ipynb files that I have accumulated over time JUPYTERS OLDJUPYTERS they under a common folder along with others

For some reason I now unable launch many of the files in OLDJUPYTERS from the Jupyter home screen- I get a message

File Load Error for OLDJUPYTERS OLDJUPYTERS is a directory, not a file Dismiss

I uninstalled and reinstalled Ananconda3 with Python 3.12 to no avail. Any clues what to do?
