I have installed wsl before, then deleted, configured and removed it as well.
Now while trying to install wsl again (for my Ubuntu), I can't anymore. It sticks after 'downloading', but it wouldn't install after trying several times. I also checked if Ubuntu is installed by trying to delete it, but it doesn't exist as I have deleted it before.
When I download it from Microsoft store, it opens and stuck on 'installing' as well, but never installs
My main issue now is it sticking and not installing on my powershell. (I ran it as an administrator, incase anyone cares)
Here is where it's been downloaded downloading in progress
And here it's after the download. It's supposed to install after the download, but it doesn't. It just stucks here with no further progress. Stuck here after download

Reset to default 0I had a similar problem (instead of being stuck, it was crashing with some error code).
Solved by downloading and installing a MSI file from the official WSL GitHub releases. I'd suggest you to try the same.
