statistics - How to determine the mean and 95% confidence interval of a skewed bootstrapped distribution? - Stack Overflow

I have bootstrapped my data 1000 times, but unfortunately this bootstrapped distribution is skewed so the true group mean is more aligned with the mode of the distribution, rather than the mean.

How do I report the mean and CI while staying true to the true group mean? Can I instead report the mode?

(p.s. the skewed distribution isn't an artifact of bootstrapping count, since even bootstrapping 10,000 times doesn't change anything).

Thank you so much for your advice.
